Green Celebrities

Today’s MSNBC News features a slide show of celebrities going green.

Check out what they do for the environment and how they are going green in their homes.

You will find that many of them
- live in green homes
- have solar panels on the roof
- used eco-friendly building materials such as re-claimed oak floors, jeans-based insulation
- use grey water

A couple of them are off the grid.

You might think, that is is easy for them to do, because they have the money. I would assume they do have more money than the avarage person to invest in alternative energies and green homes. However, they also would have more money to spend on oil, gas, electricity. And yet they prefer to live in green homes!

They belief that protecting our environment is importatn, viatl to our survival. They all do more than liv ein a green home. They actively participiate in, or even founded, organizations that are committed to reduce global warming, help the less fortunate, protect the environemnt.
